Upon arriving in Vadodara, you'll visit the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park and spend the night there. Next, you'll explore the Laxmi Vilas Palace before traveling to Kevadia to see the Statue of Unity, including its viewing gallery, museum, and gardens. You'll stay overnight in Kevadia. Following this, you'll drive to Velavadar, check into a resort, and enjoy an afternoon Jeep Safari. You'll spend the night in Velavadar. After a morning Jeep Safari in Velavadar, you'll head to Dasada, check into the Royal Safari Camp, and stay there overnight. The following day, you'll visit the Wild Ass Sanctuary and embark on a village safari to experience local culture and craftsmanship, with an overnight stay in Dasada.
You'll then drive to Ahmedabad, stopping in Patan and Modhera to see local temples and workshops before checking into House of MG. In Ahmedabad, you'll visit the Calico Museum, Sabarmati Ashram, Sidi Saiyad Mosque, Jumma Masjid, and Rani Sipri Mosque, spending the night there. Finally, you'll visit the Adalaj Step Well and enjoy a food trail before transferring to the airport for your flight back home.

Morning visit the Laxmi Vilas Palace (closed on Mondays) - The palace offers a glimpse into the regal past of the Gaekwad dynasty and allows you to appreciate the grandeur and architectural splendor of this historic landmark. We then leave for Kevadia to experience the Statue of Unity, which is a magnificent tribute to India's first Deputy Prime Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, it is recommended to allocate a full day for your visit.
Morning:
Head to the base of the statue and admire its colossal size and grandeur. Take some time to appreciate the intricate details and the engineering marvel behind its construction.
Take the high-speed elevator that will lift you to the viewing gallery situated at the height of the statue's chest level. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Narmada River and the picturesque surroundings.
Mid-Day:
Descend from the viewing gallery and explore the museum located at the statue's base. The museum provides insightful exhibits on the life and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, showcasing his role in India's freedom struggle and nation-building.
After visiting the museum, you can take a leisurely stroll in the beautifully landscaped gardens surrounding the statue. Enjoy the serene ambiance and capture memorable photographs with the iconic monument as your backdrop.
Afternoon:
Treat yourself to a delicious lunch at one of the on-site restaurants or cafes, offering a range of culinary options to suit various tastes.
After lunch, take a short bus ride to the nearby Sardar Sarovar Dam, one of the largest dams in the world. Explore the dam premises, learn about its engineering significance, and admire the breathtaking views of the reservoir.
Evening:
Return to the Statue of Unity complex in the evening and witness the stunning lighting ceremony of the statue. As the sun sets, the statue is illuminated, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Take the time to capture this magical moment and enjoy the ambiance.
After visits of the Palace we proceed to Velavadar and check-in at an exclusive resort. Afternoon take a Jeep Safari (1600 - 1800 hrs)

Morning Jeep Safari to view the Black Buck and other animals in the park. Return and have breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Dasada (Bajana). Arrive at your Royal Safari Camp. Check -in at the camp.

In the morning we will explore the Wild Ass Sanctuary. Return for the breakfast and the in late afternoon proceed for a half day village safari. Areas around the Royal Safari Camp are known for being a home to a fascinating culture. The pastoral clans like Rabaris, Kharapat Rabaris, Jats and Bharvads give this area a unique and vibrant touch.
Known for extraordinary craftsmanship and brilliant embroidery work, all these clans have their own lexicon of motifs and embroidery stitches and other craft techniques. Families and women settled in these parts of Gujarat have perfected the art of making beautiful clothes and decorations. Though many of these skills have since been lost, they are being kept alive today through various handicraft initiatives.
A village safari to the surrounding villages, where visitors get a chance to come closer to a rich source of art and craftsmanship. A Weaver’s Co-operative Society at Bajana provides visitors an opportunity to buy souvenirs.

After breakfast we leave for Ahmedabad, en-route visiting Patan and Modhera. Patan is a beautiful old town with Jain Temples and carved wooden houses. Rani-ki-vav (step-well), Sahastraling are interesting places to visit in Patan. Patan is home of the famous patola silk saris. We will stop at a workshop to see the Patola silk weaving. The workshop is managed by Salvi Family who are doing this art for generations.
The Sun temple at Modhera (106 kms from Ahmedabad) is one of the finest examples of Indian temple architecture of its period. Built in 1026 AD, the temple is dedicated to the Sun God, Surya and stands high on a plinth overlooking a deep stone-stepped tank. Every inch of the edifice, both inside and outside, is magnificently carved with gods and goddesses, birds, beasts and flowers. The inner sanctum which housed the presiding deity faces east and was so designed that at the solar equinoxes the first rays of the rising sun lit up the images of Surya.
